Proper Use of Full and Small Size Logos
All logos have been created in full and small sizes to optimize legibility when reproducing in full size applications, such as manuals, on-screen menus, sales literature and brochures, or in small size applications, such as the face of a hardware device. Note: do not modify the logo. Never separate the elements or reconfigure them to fit a space.
Full Size Logos for Manuals and On-Screen Menus
(reproduction above 0.5" height)
The full size logos should be used where reproduction of the logo is larger than 0.5" (13mm) in height, such as manuals, on-screen menus, sales literature, and brochures. The full size logos may not be used in a size smaller than 0.5" (13mm) in height.
Small Size Logos for Hardware Devices
(reproduction below 0.5" height)
The small size logos should be used where reproduction of the logo is smaller than 0.5" (13mm) in height, such as the face of a hardware device. The small size logos may not be used in a size larger that 0.5"(13mm) in height.
In the small size logos, the Symbol has been carefully modified to add visual balance when reproduced at very small sizes. Notice the additional white space between the Symbol’s stripes as compared to the standard logo.
Additionally, the identifier font has been increased in size and made a heavier weight. This makes the overall logo much easier to read when reproduced at 0.5" height or smaller.
Note, if the TM notice becomes completely illegible due to a size reduction of the logo, you may eliminate the letters "TM".
