DTS Surround Audio Suite
Surround Audio Suite is a standard definition version of Master Audio Suite, offering both DVD and DTS 5.1 Music Disc encoding modes (encoding audio assets for Bluray Disc or HD DVD requires a DTS–HD Master Audio Suite). The DTS Surround Audio Suite can be easily upgraded to a full version of the DTS–HD Master Audio Suite by purchasing an electronic upgrade license key from your DTS Professional Audio representative or by visiting our on–line store.
As of version 1.5 the DTS Surround Audio Suite includes the DTS–HD StreamPlayer, replacing the SoundCode DTS StreamPlayer Pro Tools plug–in from Neyrinck Audio. This plug–in is available direct from www.neyrinck.com and will also be updated in the near term for Mac–Intel compatibility and DTS Express playback.
As of Version 1.5, The DTS Surround Audio Suite™ supports the creation of audio streams compatible with DVD–Video, DVD–Audio and DTS Surround Music CD formats. Streams can be created with up to 6.1 channels from source files with sample rates of 44.1 and 88.2 kHz*** for DTS Surround Music CDs and with sample rates of 48 or 96 kHz for DVD–V and DVD–A discs. Notes: SAS V1.1 does not support the creation of DTS Music Discs. Encodes created with SAS are not compatible with HD–DVD and Blu–Ray Discs.
