Here are the basics of what you need for the Ultimate Entertainment Experience with DTS Digital Surround.
Connect your DVD player (with DTS Digital Out) to your receiver or pre-amplifier via the "SP-DIF" or "Optical" port. Now connect the DVD player to the TV via the means provided by your player and TV set.
Some DVD players require specific audio set-up to pass through the DTS bitstream. Please refer to your Owner's Guide for help on this.
Connect your speakers to your receiver or pre-amp.
Select a DTS-encoded DVD-Video, DVD-Audio or 5.1 Music Disc and place it into your DVD player. Look for one of the following logos somewhere on the disc's packaging.
Go to the Audio Set-Up portion of the disc menu and select the DTS option.
You are now ready to enjoy the Ultimate Entertainment Experience!
